Risto Renkonen continues as Dean of Faculty of Medicine
The Board of University of Helsinki assigned Professor of Glycobiology Risto Renkonen for the third term (2018-2021) as a Dean of Faculty of Medicine.
He has had a strong vision how to develop the Faculty of Medicine and key role in renewing the structure of the organization and developing the education in global context.
Risto Renkonen has been one of the founders of SPARK Finland and member of our professional mentor poll. He has been giving strong support for integrating our program to the global SPARK network and promoting cross-organizational and multidisciplinary collaboration.
SPARK Finland’s steering committee, management team and especially SPARKees and mentors congratulates Risto for the third assignment in a row as a dean of Faculty of Medicine.
