Call for SPARK Finland program is once again open.

Twice a year – in May/June and Nov/Dec – an expert panel of faculty and industry advisors reviews proposals submitted from across the academic and clinical landscape. In open calls we look for projects and teams targeting on new solutions in health tech and life science space. Eligible applicants are from Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Kuopio and Joensuu regions – scientists, students and health care professionals – from our member institutions.

Finalists are invited to present to the panel before final selections are made. On top of that we have partner programs – the first one is a Finnish version of BioDesign – from which we have a separate path to SPARK.

Call info is on Monday 14.11. at 14:00 (EET) and the guest star for telling about his own experiences at the SPARK program is cardiac surgeon Tommi Pätilä (MD, PhD). He is a co-founder of Koite Health Oy that created Lumoral oral health solutions and co-founder of SpectroCor Oy developing diagnostic tool for cardiac surgery.

Call is open until 30.11.2022 and you can find more information at Applying section.
