SPARK Finland has updated it’s management team with top tier professional. We are proud to announce that Dr. Juuso Blomster (PhD, MD) has joined our team as a Development Manager.

Juuso is a cardiologist by training and brings wide spectrum of competencies on drug development, clinical research, regulatory issues, companion diagnostics and eHealth. Currently he holds a position in Turku University Hospital as a Chief Medical Innovation Officer assessing and implementing new medical innovations in to clinical practice. His former assignment was Director Physician at AstraZeneca (Gothenburg, Sweden).

Juuso’s career has a strong international flavor. He worked for four years at AstraZeneca (Sweden), and before that for almost two years as postdoc researcher at The George Institute for Global Health in Sydney (Australia).

Like Juho in Tampere region Juuso will be taking also some coordinating responsibilities in Helsinki metropolitan area, and participates actively in global SPARK community.
