Year 2025 will be exciting for SPARK Finland community! The new year is also a renewal opportunity, and thus we start our operations, together with our communities, with existing strengths, but also with some new elements and resources.

My Nguyen is the newest member of our management team. She joined our team from Aalto Ventures Program where she worked for years as global partnership coordinator.  My coordinates our Pre-SPARK activities and some of the key events. She has years of experience in organizing education, events and other activities in international and dynamic environments. She has a great curiosity for innovation and impactful education that leverages multidisciplinary collaborations. Furthermore, she also strengthens our business competence pool; she holds MSc in Management and International Business from Aalto University.

A new batch of the SPARK project teams, Batch Spring 2025, have also been selected in mid-December. We will introduce them for the wider audience in mid-January. We also welcome new teams to the program!

The third exciting thing for our spring season is our international activity. We will have the first large European SPARK Showcase Event in Birmingham (UK) on March 13-14, 2025. SPARK Finland will have a large delegation attending it; in total, our group will be more than 30 attendees. We are proud to present to the world stars really cool SPARKees (projects) and alumni companies and licensing cases in front of a large international audience. In total, our European SPARK community will bring close to a hundred projects and alumni to the event.
