Slush is one of the leading startup events in the world and held annually in Helsinki (FIN). It brings together 17,500 attendees and 1 million live stream viewers. In 2016, over 2,300 startups, 1,100 venture capitalists, and 600 journalists from over 120 countries came to Slush to drive business, and to experience the phenomenal atmosphere.

SPARK Finland is attending Slush 2017 with several teams, mentors and program managers. But also SPARK Global is represented at the event. Head of SPARK Berlin, professor Craig Garner, will be giving keynote speech at Slush Y Science, and head of SPARK at Australia, professor Michael Wallach, will be also joining Finnish colleagues and teams at the event.

Slush Y Science is a vertical event that collects academic organizations, scientists and students to bring forth the value of science based business, and encourage scientists to embrace a different way of thinking about making an impact. The access is free but requires reserving your spot to the event.

We are looking forward to meet interesting people and have fruitful discussions in inspiring atmosphere.
